NSIKA BIYELA – Ayifihleki

South African Maskandi artist NSIKA BIYELA returns with a new project titled Ayifihleki. Released on October 2, 2026, the five-track EP adds another chapter to his growing catalogue and further highlights his versatility within the modern Maskandi scene.

Ayifihleki is rooted firmly in Maskandi, with NSIKA BIYELA handling much of the creative process himself. He has built a reputation for taking on several roles across his music, including composition, production, vocals, songwriting and sound engineering, giving his releases a strongly personal identity.

The project includes songs such as “Ayifihleki,” “Inyani,” “Sisathandana,” “Uthol’ Oncono” and “Ufuna Ngenzeni.” Together, the five tracks give listeners a concise showcase of NSIKA BIYELA’s melodic approach, expressive vocals and culturally rooted style.

One of the standout records on the EP is “Ufuna Ngenzeni,” a solo track that places the focus on NSIKA BIYELA’s vocal delivery and musical expression. The title track, “Ayifihleki,” also carries the project’s Maskandi identity through a melody-driven arrangement and direct performance style.

With Ayifihleki, NSIKA BIYELA continues to strengthen his place within contemporary Maskandi, delivering a focused project that combines traditional influence with his own hands-on approach to music-making.
