Mneliseni – I-Tazz

South African Maskandi artist Mneliseni has released a new project titled I-Tazz. The EP arrived on October 5, 2026 and contains five tracks with a total runtime of about 21 minutes.

I-Tazz offers a short and focused addition to Mneliseni’s catalogue, keeping the project rooted in Maskandi while allowing his vocal delivery and storytelling to remain at the centre. Rather than stretching into a lengthy tracklist, the EP presents five concise records that give listeners a direct look at his 2026 sound.

The project opens with the title track “I Tazz”, followed by “Uthe Uyakwazi,” “Amahloni,” “Ngisezintweni” and closing song “Impumelelo.” Tholakele appears on “Amahloni,” providing the only credited guest appearance on the project.

The compact sequencing gives I-Tazz a straightforward identity, with each song contributing to a project firmly positioned within contemporary Maskandi. The title track immediately introduces the release, while “Impumelelo” brings the five-song run to a close.

The EP also adds to Mneliseni’s existing body of work, which includes the 2023 project Gcaba Brothers. That earlier release featured songs such as “Ubaba Okhohlakele,” “Ngeke Nilunge,” “Gcaba Brothers” and “Dela Nhliziyo.”

With I-Tazz, Mneliseni delivers a concise Maskandi project that places the focus on his own artistry while adding a single collaborative moment with Tholakele. The EP provides longtime listeners with fresh material and offers new audiences a brief introduction to his growing catalogue.
